Before First Use

1. Prepare the Unit

  • Unpack the CleatPRO® completely.
  • Open the lid.
  • Remove the internal rack.
  • Remove all protective materials from inside the water tank.
  • Rinse the tank if necessary.

  • Ensure that the drain valve is securely closed.

2. Fill the Water Tank

  • Reinstall the internal rack.
  • Pour approximately 8 liters (2.1 US gallons) of water into the tank until the water level is slightly above the top of the rack.

⚠️ Important: The heating element must always remain completely submerged while the unit is operating.

3. Start-Up

  • Plug the unit directly into a 220 V wall outlet (or 110 V for North American models).
  • Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  • Check that the thermostat is set correctly (74°C / 165°F by default).

  • Turn on the unit approximately 30 minutes before first use to allow it to generate an optimal amount of steam.

Using the CleatPRO®

Heating the Football Boots

  • Once the unit is producing steam:

    1. Place the football boots directly on the rack.
    2. You can stack multiple pairs to make full use of the unit's capacity.
    3. Close the lid securely.

The recommended heating time is 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the level of softening desired.

Heating the Football Boots

  • Open the lid carefully.
  • Remove the desired pair(s) of boots.
  • Close the lid immediately if other boots are still being heated.

For the best results, put on the boots while they are still warm so they can naturally mold to the shape of your feet.

Daily Inspection

Before each use:

  • Check the water level.
  • Refill the tank if necessary.
  • Ensure that the heating element remains fully submerged.

Cleaning

Never use: Acetone, Solvents, Abrasive or corrosive cleaning products

Usage Tips

✔ Heat your football boots for 10 to 20 minutes before warm-up for maximum comfort and the best fit.

Synthetic boots generally require a shorter heating time than leather boots.

✔ Check the water tank regularly and keep it clean to ensure efficient steam production and extend the lifespan of the CleatPRO®.
